By far the best coffee shop and a neighborhood staple! As soon as you walk in the atmosphere is infectious and you can't help but smile or laugh. Whether it's the owners singing classic rock / oldies or the staff that knows every customers name and treats them like an old friend, it's always a good decision to stop by "The Bean". Not to mention how good the coffee, tea and pastries are either. Their coffee is incomparable and in a league of their own.
The Laughing Bean Coffee on Haistings in East Vancouver is a comfortable neighborhood cafe. Great bakery options and fresh coffee offered. You have to try their gooey cinnamon rolls as advertised. Free small parking lot and street parking nearby. Comfy seating and friendly service.
This cafe is amazing. There are few cafes in Vancouver that offers more than products. The Laughing Bean presents warm hospitality and homely environment. I immediately felt welcomed as soon as i entered this cafe even though it was my first time there. The staff there have the personality and service level as high as a 5 Star hotel in Vancouver. They are natural and organic. In many cafes in Vancouver, you feel like you have robots working there. This cafe sets the standards very high for others to compete. Will definitely visit again.
This was a cafe I had always wanted to visit on my way to and from work. On a day when I was working from home, I finally had the chance to go, and I couldn’t believe I hadn’t visited sooner! It’s such a wonderful cafe. The staff were very friendly, and I quickly understood why there was a constant flow of customers. The delicious coffee and the incredibly cute latte art truly amazed me. There was a kind Korean staff member working there. I was so happy to meet her, and I completely fell in love with her latte art. I was so touched by the kind service that I even wanted to give a small gift as a token of appreciation. I made a promise to myself to visit again soon and show my gratitude to her. I highly recommend visiting this cafe—you won’t regret it!
I got there yesterday around 4:30, just as they were closing and the cash register was already shut down. Still, the owner went out of their way to make sure I didn’t leave disappointed—they kindly offered me a free Americano since it was still possible to brew one! I’ve always had great experiences here thanks to their friendly service and quality coffee, but this thoughtful gesture made me appreciate the place even more. Highly recommend stopping by and enjoying a cup!
One of the best coffee shops on Hastings! The service is great, special shoutout to Kristine, she is super kind and welcoming and is passionate about what she does. She recommended the cinnamon bun which was delicious, and I even got a fresh cookie straight out of the oven. 10/10 will be returning.
